My son was just in Temecula, didn't know you were that close? Wish he was the kind of son who would have shopped there, for me, lol. Congratulations on the new grandson, we will both be grandmas. I have the down under material, now i need to decided on a design.

Congratulations on it being a BOY!! You'll be like me, three girls, then a grandson. It's a learning curve, but they are so, so sweet. Our date to meet Mr. Anon is in a couple weeks, let's hope it works on the first go!!!!

Miss you!!

That is BIG news!! Congratulations to you and Rick - and of course to the parents haha. You'll have a fun summer this year for sure.

Is this a first grand-child for you? I am trying to remember if you have mentioned having any but have no recollection. Anyhow, there are some good patterns for little boy quilts. I made one with airplanes a few years ago.

OMG. So very happy for you. And what a wonderful day you have planned with Claire. What I wouldn't give for a trip to Temecula Quilts. I order from them online, but a visit to store would be awesome. Love to see what you are planning for the baby quilt. Will look forward to tomorrow's post to see what bargains you girls found.

Congratulations, to you, daughter and the rest of the family. Grand kids are the best. Start cranking out those baby quilts. A grandma hint--make a small one, just for a car seat cover up (when they graduate to a sit-up seat). Mine always took that quilt everytime it was time to go in the car.

Such happy news Sweet P...there is nothing quite like a Grand-person!It won't be long after the Grand's arrival and you'll be wondering how you got along without; they are so special.
Congratulations.

Congratulations to the expectant parents and grandparents. I take it this isnt the same daughter making half square triangles in pink? Anyhow, lucky there is only one quilter in the family...my Mother and I had the dilemma who was making my babies their cot quilt! And it drove her nuts that she didnt know what the babies gender is! Hmm after the cot quilt is done you can then start on the patchwork bibs, bunting and wall hanging for decorations, embrodered singlets and of course a hanging mobile! Lots and lots of baby patchworking coming up!
